Spain

Spain is one of the largest countries in Europe and super diverse. It’s got a massive coastline, amazing cities, mountains and a whole lot of islands.

I have personally visited many different places in Spain and loved them all.

Recently I have been to Mallorca and Andalusia, which I both highly recommend.

I am planning a larger roadtrip through Spain in the next months and am looking forward to discovering many more hidden gems and beautiful spots!

The Spanish way of living is very relaxed and it’s normal for everyone to be a bit late.

Some places in Spain I have visited and highly recommend visiting: Andalusia, Mallorca, Canary Islands (esp. Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Lanzarote & La Gomera),

General Information & Good To Know before visiting Spain

Language:

Spanish, but English is widely spoken in touristy regions.

Currency:

Euro

Weather:

Spain is a very big country with different climates. Winter in the North-East can be quite cold with snow while in the South and Central parts of Spain stay very mild year round. I personally prefer spring & autumn for the best temperatures. The Canary Islands also belong to Spain and are known for their spring-like temperatures all year round.

Safety:

Generally, Spain is a very safe country. Larger cities may have a bit more petty crime, like most major cities in Europe. Listening to your gut and being aware of your surroundings is a great way to avoid any incidents.
